Celtics Rolling

I’ll give the Celtics this, at least they are giving us a season. About three weeks ago, this team was sitting in the seven seed, playing bad basketball and it looked like this season was going down the toilet fast. But over the last couple weeks the team has really started to play some good basketball.

Jayson Tatum is playing great, averaging 34 ppg over the last 13 games, Kemba Walker looks healthy and is playing well, Jaylen Brown is shooting lights out, Robert Williams is making the most of his opportunity, Marcus Smart isn’t completely sucking. They have gone 8-2 over their last 10 including six straight. They are now tie for the 4th seed and hitting their stride. Hopefully they can keep it going over the last three weeks of the regular season and go into the playoffs hot.

Do I expect them to make a deep run in the playoffs? Probably not. The 76ers, Nets and Bucks are better teams but can the Celtics win a round and give one of those teams a series in round 2? Absolutely. I wouldn’t have said that a couple weeks ago but this team has figured something out recently. They are not only winning but they are playing entertaining basketball. They are fun to watch and giving us a season we can at least enjoy.
