Nothing Butt Reviews: Mountain Dew Major Melon

Last week I was in D'Angelo grabbing myself a Pound It! Steak and Cheese and while I was waiting in line I looked over at the beverage fridge and right in the middle was a bright pink drink that caught my eye. So I went over to check it out and it was a Watermelon Mountain Dew. Apparently they've been out for a little over a month now, even had a Super Bowl commercial or so I'm told but this was the first I heard of it.

So I figured what the hell, I'll give it a try. I was know to have the occasional Mountain Dew back in the day and I love me some melons, so it's got to be pretty good, right?

Cracked it open and immediately you get a luscious watermelon scent, it's nice. I take a sip and at first you get the traditional Mountain Dew taste followed by a delicious watermelon taste. I liked how the Mountain Dew taste really came through. It's sweet but not overwhelming. It actually pretty refreshing. When it comes to watermelon beverages I feel like you either hate them or love them, there's really no in-between but if you like watermelon beverages pick yourself up some Major Melons. It's really a tasty beverage.

I've since picked up a few more and I enjoyed it just as much the second time around. I probably couldn't drink them regularly but one every once in a while will hit the spot.
