Super Bowl Prop Bets

CSBS has been silent for long enough. I'm back to bring you our annual Super Bowl prop bets blog.
1. Patrick Mahomes most consecutive completions, o/u 6.5 - Give me the under, Mahomes has struggled in his previous two Super Bowl appearances and I don't think he's going to fare much better this time around. He's going against a very good Eagles defense that is going to get pressure on him all night long. Besides Kelce, I'm not sure how any of the Chiefs receivers will consistently get open. I don't envision Mahomes racking up the completions in this one.

2. Eagles total players with a rushing attempt, o/u 4.5 - Hurts, Sanders, Gainwell and Scott will have an attempt for sure but after that I don't see anyone else getting a carry. The Eagles haven't had anyone other than those four players (and Minshew when he filled in for Hurts) get a carry since Quez Watkins on December 18th, it's not happening in the Super Bowl, under.
3. Travis Kelce receptions o/u 7.5 - Hammer the over. Kelce is the only consistent weapon Mahomes has and he will be looking Kelce's way. I don't think the Chiefs offense will be great in this game but Kelce will get his, I'm thinking 9 catches.
4. Jersey number of 1st touchdown scorer, o/u 11.5 - Under is the favorite and rightfully so, a lot of skill position players in the game wear 1-11 but Miles Sanders (26), Kenneth Gainwell (14) and Travis Kelce (87) have me taking the over.
5. Who will have more on Sunday, Jayson Tatum assists vs. Memphis or Dallas Goedert receptions in SB - A cross sport bet to get Boston sports involved. This will be close, Tatum is averaging 4.5 assist per game this season and Goedert averaged 4.5 receptions per game this season. I'm going to take Tatum here, I'm not sure Goedert is going to be a big part of the Eagles game plan, although he has had five catches in each of the Eagles playoff games. Tatum is averaging 5.6 assists per game over the last five. Tatum gets 6 assists, Goedert gets 3 receptions.

6. Isiah Pacheco rushing yards o/u 47.5 - Don't be fooled by his 26 yards in the AFC Championship game, he had 95 in the divisional round vs. the Jaguars. Pacheco has separated himself as the Chiefs lead back this season and I expect him to have a solid Super Bowl, let's say around 75 yards rushing.
7. Haason Reddick sacks o/u .25 - Easiest bet on the board. Take the over and bet the house. Reddick is going to dominate this game, there's no way he doesn't get a sack. I would be surprised if he doesn't get multiple sacks.
8. What will be Rihanna's first song performed during the halftime show - Diamonds is the favorite and I get it but I'm going with We Found Love. It's an uptempo song that screams opener. Fast paced songs usually kick of Super Bowl halftime shows. We Found Love is one of Rihanna's most successful and most recognizable songs, it would be a great way to kick of the halftime show.

I'm extremely excited for this halftime show, anyone who has ever known me knows how much I love Rihanna and I can't wait for this performance. On average the Super Bowl halftime show features 9 songs, I think Rihanna will come in right at that number. Here's my prediction for the 9 songs she performs:
We Found Love
Umbrella
Diamonds
Rude Boy
Work
Run This Town
Don't Stop The Music
SOS
Lift Me Up

9. Super Bowl LVII MVP - Jalen Hurts. This is a QB award so if the Eagles win, this award is Hurts but I think he's going to actually deserve it. I have him throwing for over 300 yards and rushing for another 50. He will be responsible for multiple touchdowns, either passing or rushing. Hurts will outperform Mahomes, win the game and earn himself MVP.
10. Super Bowl LVII winner and score - Philadelphia Eagles 29-23. The Eagles offense should be able to do whatever it wants against the Chiefs defense. Mahomes hasn't performed well in Super Bowls and that will continue, not to mention Andy Reid's struggles in big games. Similarly to what the Buccaneers did to Mahomes a couple years ago, I think the Eagles will get pressure on Mahomes and force errant throws and mistakes. Jalen Hurts will shine and lead the Eagles to another Super Bowl Championship.
