TA's 2021 NFL Mock Draft 2.0
Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson - Lawrence has always been and will always be the number one pick.
New York Jets: Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon - It sounds more and more like the Jets are going to move forward with Sam Darnold so they take the best offensive lineman in the draft to protect him.
Miami Dolphins: Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU - If the Dolphins stick with Tua, they will likely get him a weapon at number 3 and Chase is too good to pass up.
Atlanta Falcons: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU - Falcons get their successor to Matt Ryan.
Cincinnati Bengals: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida - The Bengals get Joe Burrow one of the best weapons in this draft. Pitts is a stud.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama - Reports are the Eagles are all in on Jalen Hurts and want to build around him this offseason. Waddle might be one of the most underrated players in this draft, I think he is going to be elite.
Detroit Lions: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama - Lions lost both Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones in free agency. They are desperately in need of a wide receiver.
Carolina Panthers: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State - This almost feels like this is a done deal. Carolina is almost 100% going to take a QB and it feels like they are targeting in on Lance. All I have to say is good luck.
Denver Broncos: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama - Surtain is the best CB in the draft and CB is the Broncos biggest need, seems like a perfect marriage.
Dallas Cowboys: Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern - Dallas’ top priority should be to protect Dak.
New York Giants: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State - Parsons is a great fit in the Giants defense and arguably the best defensive player in this draft.
San Francisco 49ers: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State - It's pretty clear the 49ers want to make a change at QB if the right situation presents itself. With Fields slipping to number 12 the 49ers pounce and will look to move on from Jimmy G.
Los Angeles Chargers: Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech - The Chargers got their franchise QB last year, now they need to protect him.
Minnesota Vikings: Kwity Paye, DE, Michigan - The Vikings need to rebuild their defensive line and Paye is a good place to start.
New England Patriots: Mac Jones, QB, Alabama - Belichick gets his franchise QB. With all the moves the Patriots made in free agency, filling virtually all their needs, it opens up the path to drafting a QB. Jones is a perfect fit for Patriots offense.
Arizona Cardinals: Caleb Farley, CB, Virgina Tech - Cardinals draft their replacement for Patrick Peterson.
Las Vegas Raiders: Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami - The Raiders need to continue to add playmakers to the defense. Rousseau is an athletic freak and would be a nice addition to the Raiders.
Miami Dolphins: Jeremiah Owusa-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame - It's pretty clear Brian Flores wants to get younger and more athletic at LB. JOK is a good one.
Washington Football Team: Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa - The WFT is in major need of a LB. Collins is a riser and would be a nice fit on the WFT defense.
Chicago Bears: Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas - Offensive line is a big need for the Bears and Cosmi stock is rising.
Indianapolis Colts: Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida - Colts will need to add some weapons around Wentz if they want him to have a chance. They could also lose TY Hilton in free agency.
Tennessee Titans: Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina - Titans cut Butler and lost Jackson in free agency, they need a CB.
New York Jets: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama - If the Jets are going to move forward with Darnold they might want to add some weapons around him that will also take the ball out of his hand.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Alijah Vera-Tucker, G, USC - AVT is a fast riser and fills a major need for the Steelers.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU - Moehrig is rising fast. Jags get a versatile playmaker on defense.
Cleveland Browns: Jaelen Phillips, Edge, Miami - Browns could use some help getting after the QB and Phillips is a great pass rusher.
Baltimore Ravens: Azeez Ojulari, Edge, Georgia - Versatile LB who can play all over the Ravens defense and replace Matt Judon.
New Orleans Saints: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota - More than ever the Saints need to load up on offense if they want to have any chance of succeeding with Winston.
Green Bay Packers: Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern - A suddenly rising CB. The Packers need help in the secondary and Newsome could be a sleeper.
Buffalo Bills: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson - Sort of a surprise pick here but Bills could do better at RB and Etienne is one of the best RB's in this class.
Kansas City Chiefs: Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State - Obvious need for the Chiefs, wouldn't be surprised if they trade up to get one of the higher ranked offensive tackles.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida State - Buccaneers defense played well in the playoffs and Super Bowl but their weakness throughout the season was in the secondary. Samuel brings a solid cornerback to the roster that should crack the rotation early and help improve this secondary.
