We’re Doing This Again?

What the hell is Bill Belichick thinking? Why the fuck is he bringing Cam Newton back to QB the New England Patriots. Didn’t last year suck enough that he wouldn’t want to do it again?

Bill Belichick is on the verge of losing me. You won’t find too many people more on Team Belichick than me but this move might be the last straw.

There’s the term, “he set football back 40 years” and then there’s Cam Newton. QB’s in 1960 threw more than 8 touchdowns in a season. St. Louis Cardinals great and Coach Roache’s long lost 2nd cousin by marriage, John Roach put up more TD’s with 17 in 1960 than Cam did in 2020.

I’m starting to think Bill Belichick just wants to have a QB he likes and can get along with after not having that those last 3 or 4 years with Brady. But come on, you love Jimmy G, go trade for him. Fuck it, trade your first round pick for Jimmy. I’d rather that than just running it back with Cam. At least Jimmy G can throw the football.

Belichick better have some serious shit up his sleeve this offseason if he’s rolling with Cam again. He better be landing Hunter Henry, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kenny Golladay. I’m not even convinced that will work cause how is Cam going to get those guys the ball? But at least he will have built a great team around Cam and maybe they have a chance. If I have to go through another year of Cam throwing to Byrd, Izzo and Asiasi I’m going to be joining Coach Roache on suicide watch.

I literally choked on my Cheerios when I saw that the Patriots were re-signing Cam Newton this morning. It’s almost noon time and I’m still in shock. I can’t believe we are going to put ourselves through this again.
